About Leonard Patchett

With an Engineering degree, Lenny began his career working across many industries. His first exposure to Fluid Power was designing several bespoke hi-rail vehicles, using hydrostatic drives for vehicle propulsion and various other hydraulic systems to enable to transition from road to rail modes. He then spent some time working in aerospace and defence training and simulation, where again hydraulic systems were employed to move the platform and create a realistic environment for the trainee.



Following these tastes of Fluid Power, Lenny spent three years working in the engineering team at Bosch Rexroth.

Lenny is currently working for Hydraulic Controls, a hydraulic manifold and valve manufacturer.
